EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 9, 2026

THE BECOMING original work

THE BECOMING protects the original work it creates while respecting the rights of every photographer, institution, archive, artist and other third-party rights holder whose material may appear on this website.

Permission required

Except where otherwise indicated, original texts, photographs, videos, audio content, graphic works, designs and campaigns created by THE BECOMING may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, sold, licensed, automatically extracted or used commercially without prior written permission from THE BECOMING, subject to exceptions and limitations provided by applicable law.

This notice does not remove or restrict rights that applicable law grants without permission, and it does not claim that any technical measure can prevent all copying.

Third-party content

Content belonging to third parties remains the property of its respective rights holders. Third-party material may appear under license, with permission, in the public domain or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Any source, credit, license or usage notice displayed with that material remains applicable.

THE BECOMING does not claim ownership of photographs, marks or other materials belonging to NASA, Wikimedia Commons, the United Nations or any other third party. Publication on this website does not transfer those rights to THE BECOMING and does not imply endorsement by the rights holder.

Automated extraction and indexing

Automated extraction, scraping, dataset compilation or commercial reuse of original THE BECOMING material requires prior written permission unless permitted by applicable law. This notice does not prevent ordinary public search-engine indexing of content made publicly available on this website.

Request permission

To request permission, identify the material, describe the intended use, distribution, territory and duration, and contact TheBecomingLine@gmail.com. Permission is valid only when confirmed in writing by THE BECOMING and applies only to the use described in that confirmation.

Questions or corrections

If you are a rights holder and believe a credit, license or ownership notice is incomplete or inaccurate, contact TheBecomingLine@gmail.com so the record can be reviewed and corrected where appropriate.
